Guest guest
I wound up at the ER during the night Thursday with pretty bad chest pains. Naturally, I thought I was having a heart attack, but after donating a pint of blood for tests and all the other tests, he diagnosed me with a " severely inflammed diaphragm " and severe dehydration. I can understand the inflammation from the coughing for 2 months, but i don't understand the dehydration. I drink constantly all the time. He said my chest xrays looked really clear. Anyway, he prescribed anti-inflammatories, 3 days bed rest and follow up with my doctor. The pain has let up, still occurs off and on, but I'm still very uncomfortable in the chest, rib cage area so I will follow up Monday with my doctor. AT least I know my heart is good! Has anyone ever been diagnosed with an inflamed diaphragm? Thanks ! --- In , " " <Matsumura_Clan@...> wrote: > > , > > Arava can very seriously affect the lungs and your breathing. Guest guest
I moved to SC the end of May and had to see an internist to get a referral to a Rheumy. My appointment is this Wed. I was able to get my records from my GP for $5, my ObGYN for $19 and my Endocrinologist for free. The deal with my Rheumy was to pay $50 to have my records copied and hand carry them or have my " new " Rheumy request them and there would be no fee. I called my new Rheumy's office last week, told them about my appointment and my old Rheumy's requirement, the nurse asked for the name and number of the doctor and said she would have the records by the time I come in for my appointment. Of course, that remains to be seen, I'll let you know, but the office of my new Rheumy seemed like my request to contact my old doctor to get the records was the way it should be. Just my long way of saying there may be a cheaper way to get your records. I remember when I changed Rheumy's in , VA my new doctor requested my records and there were probably 100 pages, I was told this particular Doctor frequently charged to send records, but she didn't charge anything to send them to the new doctor. She had yelled at me and accused me of lying to her, which is why I changed, so that may have had something to do with it. If Any Doctor prescribed Any medication that I felt I was having Any type of reaction to, I would Expect immediate attention from the time I made my first call. My Mom died from an anaphylactic reaction, and that can happen to anyone. Colleen
