Hi Robin, and Welcome! You have come to the right

place for support and information. I am sure that

or a, our most wonderful moderators, will be

able to find you some information on the pancreas. I

cannot be of any help there, I am afraid.

I can tell you that your doctor is working in the

right way with your medication, and the Folic Acid is

very important when you are on Mtx. You need to give

the medication at least 3 months to really begin to

work (I know, patience is hard to come by when you

hurt), but these meds all seem to take time to get

into your system in a level which helps you.

Sometimes they add other meds to Mtx if it is not

working well. I am currently on Mtx and Enbrel for

the past year, and this is a good combo for me. I

have been dx with RA for 7 years, and also have Fibro,

OA and Raynaud's, and take meds for the fibro too.

You are free to ask any questions you want, and I know

that somebody will have the answers for you. Any

support you need, need to vent, (whine and cheese are

served here daily, as the saying goes), talk about

doctors, medications, just everything. We are here.
