Guest guest
To all you moms/dads/grandparents who are still raising little ones, for those days when you need to stay in bed but you have to get up and deal, take heart. It does get easier as they get older. A very wise woman said, " when your children are small, you talk to them about Jesus. When they get grown, you talk to Jesus about your children. " We've been there- hang in there. We admire how you keep running your race and refuse to quit. For all of you breadwinners out there who have to get up and go to work when you can barely get out of bed, you may not know it, but we're out here cheering for you, and we think you're the greatest. For all of you who are awake at 3 a.m., with every joint in your body on fire, feeling alone and in despair, take heart. You are not alone. There are a lot of us in the 3 A M Club, and we are praying for you. We may not know your name but God does. For those of you who are homebound, we are there in heart and spirit, sharing a cup of tea, a good laugh, an old movie, and a few corny jokes with you. Wishing you pain free, blessed days full of five second miracles. Love Jane

Guest guest
Hi Jane. Thanks for the support. I am 75. I am a Prostate cancer survivor for 3 years. I am raising my adopted special needs grandson who is 16. I also have 2 special needs foster children in my care. My little girl is 9 and has Cerebral Palsy, spastic quad, epilepsy, trach tube, tube fed and has been with us since she was a month old. My little boy is 13, Autistic, ADHD and has been with us since he was 2 1/2. I have RA and some other kind of aggravation and my wife has OA in her hip. In the early morning you can hear the pain being generated around here. But this is as good as it gets! Everything is downhill from here. I keep hearing the words from an old (1965)song...... " Hang on Sloopy, Sloopy hang on " by the McCoys and think yeah! I can do that. So if we all just keep humming " Hang on Sloopy, Sloopy hang on " someday help will arrive for all of us. Have a fabulous day! 2590 " il faut d'abord durer " Hemingway [ ] A little encouragement > To all you moms/dads/grandparents who are still raising little ones, > for those days when you need to stay in bed but you have to get up > and deal, take heart. I was diagnosed with breast cancer and went thru a lumpectomy on Wedneday. I have been off my embrel and mtx for two week now and will be off for another 5- 6 week depending on how much radiation I will need. I didn't realize how good I felt on my meds. Right now every joint in my body are screaming. I found myself feeling extremely sorry for myself which upsets me because normally I try to have a positive outlook. Just knowing I'm not alone really does help. I have also found great comfort from this group. I normally don't post put read mostly all the posts. Thanks again

Guest guest
, I really do believe that God gives special children to special people. You are one of the unsung heroes who may never make the headlines, but you're our hero. The fingerprints that you leave on the lives and hearts of these precious ones will be eternal. God bless you. Guest guest
Hi Jane. We only wish we could do more for the kids that need so much help. The foster care system is overwhelmed with beautiful children without parents who can provide the love and care they so desparately need. We could be shirtail cousins. My kin are from mostly Limerick. I sure wish Cousin Jack were here because he would know how to fix this mess were in. Thanks again for your kind support. May you always have walls for the winds, a roof for the rain, tea beside the fire, laughter to cheer you, those you love near you, and all your heart might desire. 2592 " il faut d'abord durer " Hemingway [ ] A little encouragement >> >> >> > To all you moms/dads/grandparents who are still raising little > ones, >> > for those days when you need to stay in bed but you have to get > up >> > and deal, take heart.
