Guest guest
Great job Donna! JenSubject: Sunday - 10lb slimdown xtremeTo: exercisevideos , FitFirmies Date: Sunday, July 15, 2012, 7:46 AM Hi Everyone, I think I'm starting to feel more like myself these days - so, today I did Freytag's 10 lb Slimdown Xtreme Total Body. I must say, I didn't find this nearly as difficult as I remembered so I must be in better shape than the last time I tried these! (Although I do remember the lower body workout to be exceptionally hard!) It is a circuit style workout - 4 circuits that you repeat one time (so you do circuit 1, 2x, circuit 2, 2x, etc.) Each circuit ends with a little cardio blast (very easy to follow). And, each workout is about 40 minutes. Most of the exercises use compound/combined movements so you are working more than one muscle group which elevates your heart rate, too. Definately liked this one and I always like Chris. I followed it up w/ Namaste Yoga - Gate Opening practice which seems to have hit some of the tight spots in my lower back. Whew! I can see how inactivity contributes to back pain - this past week I didn't exercise or stretch very much at all and boy, was I tight. I think this week's workouts plus yoga will help.Tomorrow is a cardio day - I may do the 10 lb slimdown xtreme cardio which is kickboxing. And will add on yoga or stretching. Talk to everyone later, Donna

Guest guest
I know exactly what you mean, Carol! Everything tightens upon on me if I skip more than a day or two of exercise. I recently did that KCM workout also - had it in shrinkwrap for a year! I liked it, too and I'm glad I pre-ordered. I think I'm missing 2 of her workouts - Kickboxing and Split Sessions. Hopefully I'll find them for a good price or figure out a trade!Donna Hi Everyone, I think I'm starting to feel more like myself these days - so, today I did Freytag's 10 lb Slimdown Xtreme Total Body. Guest guest
I don't know what to tell you about " Kickboxing " - I've only tried it once and it seemed a bit on the complicated side, but that may have just been my mood that day. I'll try to pull it out and do it in the next few days. I've done Split Sessions - it's pretty typical . Yesterday I did the 1st workout from " Your Best Body " , and added on the short yoga/stretch on that DVD. I didn't get started until after 9:30 - my son came home from his vacation with his dad sick Sunday evening and I wanted to see how he was feeling when he got up Monday evening - he slept much later into the evening than I expected. I am sure my back muscles will be screaming later today ~ Carol I know exactly what you mean, Carol! Everything tightens upon on me if I skip more than a day or two of exercise.
