LOL but of course i am not a morning person. im loving my sunset walks, btw i need to remember to take my camera tonight! what time will you schedule your workout while there is no school, michelle? i need to get on a better schedule but my deli hours are all over the place ::sigh:: :*carolyn. Guest guest
Happy Anniversary, !! Hope you have fun going out to dinner tonight! Where are you going to eat? Jeanette Good morning! I did one today that I haven't pulled out in quite a while. in fact, I've only done it once. I did Amy's Kettlebell Squared. The cardio sections are a bit tricky, but I was able to do all of it this time. I used 12 DB for all of this and I know this is considerably less then Amy's KB, but it worked for me, especially since I did PUB yesterday. She doesn't wear shoes, but I did this time. I do think I'll not wear them next time and see how it feels. With all the turns she does I could feel my left knee hurting just a tiny bit. I have to say I really enjoyed this workout. I burned 414 calories, avg 131, max 164, steps 4,846 Today is our 25th wedding anniversary. We're going out to dinner later. I'll scratch my good diet for today. Have a great day! Guest guest
Wow! That's a LOT of walking! It takes me around 2 hours to run 10 miles, walking 9 would probably take me around 3 hours. I love walking, it's such a great way to connect with your community and be out in fresh air. Yesterday I walked 9 miles total - three 3 mile walks spread throughout the day. I am behind on reading posts but I hope everyone is having a great day! Jeanette

Guest guest
,It wouldn't take you that long to walk 9 miles would it!?! I walk a mile in 15-20 min...just depending how brisk my pace is. And I am MOT in great shape at all right now. But that is what I love about walking...it's something you can do at about any fitness level. I try to walk as fast as I possibly can. i am not a runner though...I have never been in good enough shape to run. LOL. I am a low impact gal all the way. JeanetteSent from my iPod Wow! Guest guest
Good morning! Today I did Women's Health Train For Your Body Type and then back work from Slow & Heavy. I haven't done this one in a long time. Its led by . I've always liked it because you can customize it. I did the warm up and cardio only. There are 4 total rounds, each consisting of 3 30-second segments and 1 30-second recovery segment with jogging in-between, and every round includes plyometric moves.Let me just say that this workout is NOTHING compared to Cathe's, but still a nice challenge. *Round 1: Ice Skater--Jack & Jab--Squat Jump--Power Lunge*Round 2: 4 Quad Jump--Jump Rope--Twisting Feet--Recovery March*Round 3: Ducks & Switch--Power Quick Feet--Power Heels--5-Dot Drill*Round 4: Shuffle Touchdown--Bob & Weave with Jab--High Knees--Alternating Side Squats After that I moved on to back work. 12 reps 3 sets of everything Rows- I did one arm rows 30 Pullovers- 30 Dead lifts- skipped Super Mans 2 sets Planks For all of this it took close to 55 minutes and I burned 347 calories, avg 133, max 188, steps 3,156 Immediately after this I walked the dogs for 25 minutes. It was so hot out there. I was drenched in sweat when we got back and Chloe was sneezing and panting like crazy. I seriously doubt we'll go tomorrow or even the next day if its at all like it was this morning. Just not fun and not healthy for any of us. Have a great day!~~
