Guest guest
I live in Arizona-moved here last may and they say that this is the best place to live if you have arthritis. I am not so sure about that but I do know that the warm sunny days sure feel good. This winter has been mild and I know that in cold weather I can harldy move my hands and hurt a lot worse. I have always preferred hot weather and even like the 100 degree weather in the summer-anything besides cold. I went back to Georgia in October and could hardly move-my knees got so bad I could hardly walk and my hands were really stiff and hurting. I only got diagnosed with RA about 4 months ago but I have had fibromyalgia for 6 years and do not see any improvement so far from living here. I do know that with the fibro if I can get out and get a small amount of sunlight most days I feel some better. Personally I could not live in the harsh winter freezing cold climates-I honestly think I would GO NUTS!!! I would live by the fireplace or under the electric blanket and never go outdoors. That would not go over well since I have to work. I like the subject though and would love to hear more opinions. Gentle hugs,
