Guest guest
Dennis, now you are bringing back memories for me! If I had a dollar for every hour I'd spent at a quarter mile dirt track! Devil's bowl speedway in Dallas, Thunderbird Speedway in my home town, Heart o'Texas in Waco, Lawton, Boot Hill Speedway in La...Jim McElreath, Shady McWhorter, Bodie Lanier...can you tell my brothers raced dirt track? I used to drive a blazer, 350 4 bolt main, which they ran back then. It was not unusual for my brother to run from the pits to the stands, demand my car keys, and say, " don't worry, we'll put it back after the races. " And you know what? Whatever they " borrowed " always wound up back in place and I made it home just fine! Those were the days....young, healthy, and skinny! > >> >> > >> >> Hi everyone, new here today.
