Guest guest
Cola Pop is #43 of Body Balance the one where for the shavasana they do the recitation to Shiva? OMG I cried during that it was so beautiful... today i did beachbody pump 'hard core abs' which is a 20 min routine done on the floor. the male instructor seemed feminine... i liked him but it was quite the contrast when they switched the lead over to dan with his bald head and tattoos... dan is my new boyfriend anyway, i enjoyed the routine but i had to modify the spiderman pushups and side planks. :( anything that puts my full body weight on only one shoulder or side is asking for trouble. i love doing those exercises though so someday i will try them again... but i know that now is not a good time. overall id rate this workout at the intermediate level, although there is a beginner modification for everything. after abs i did les mills 'body balance' release 43. the usual body balance lady was there, cant remember her name, and as usual she was right into the routine. one of the instructors with her was from canada and it was fun to hear her accent among those from new zealand. body balance is about 50 mins of yoga followed by about 10 mins relaxation period at the end, during which i think i fell asleep. they split the practice into sections (songs), each led by a different person and each having a different focus. overall it was a good routine but did seem long. i wasnt feeling so hot when i started my workout today but afterward i felt alot better. should be able to get a walk done tonight no probs, thunderstorms are over now. :*carolyn. Guest guest
Glad to hear you enjoyed these Carolyn and were able to do things comfortably (some day, I hope too you'l be able to do them the way you really want to). I don't do a lot of yoga before work because I'm always afraid I will fall asleep during the shavasana and not wake up in time for work! :-) beachbody (les mills) pump: hard core abs & body balance today i did beachbody pump 'hard core abs' which is a 20 min routine done on the floor. the male instructor seemed feminine... i liked him but it was quite the contrast when they switched the lead over to dan with his bald head and tattoos... dan is my new boyfriend :)anyway, i enjoyed the routine but i had to modify the spiderman pushups and side planks. :( anything that puts my full body weight on only one shoulder or side is asking for trouble. i love doing those exercises though so someday i will try them again... but i know that now is not a good time. overall id rate this workout at the intermediate level, although there is a beginner modification for everything.after abs i did les mills 'body balance' release 43. the usual body balance lady was there, cant remember her name, and as usual she was right into the routine. one of the instructors with her was from canada and it was fun to hear her accent among those from new zealand. body balance is about 50 mins of yoga followed by about 10 mins relaxation period at the end, during which i think i fell asleep. they split the practice into sections (songs), each led by a different person and each having a different focus. overall it was a good routine but did seem long.i wasnt feeling so hot when i started my workout today but afterward i felt alot better. should be able to get a walk done tonight no probs, thunderstorms are over now.:*carolyn.
