But also of note, my parents were exposed to agent orange in the military, causing me to have birth defects - heart valve defect - spina bifita. So I could also have low tolerance to chemicals. I am female and had been on a 80mg dose of prozac for many years. Took myself off of Prozac for several months, started crying every day for over 2 months. Finally a doc put me on 10mg. of Lexapro. The crying stopped but the sexual numbness continued. Recently a doc prescribed Cymbalta 60mg. I am numb. I hate it. I was very healthy sexually before Prozac. I do not know what to do for my self but I am willing to try almost anything. I am greatfull for all of the research that various individuals do for this website. The positive side is that you too can mean a lot for (future) PSSD patients by publicizing PSSD on different relevant webforums, and by sending emails about PSSD to psychiatrists in your area. You might want to use a nickname in doing so. Please alway mention the web adress of this support group and the PSSD page on www.wikipedia.org When we convince science of the existence of PSSD, research will probably be started. > I am numb.
