Guest guest Posted April 11, 2012 Report Share Posted April 11, 2012 i had to have a rest day yesterday (tues) due to being sore and tired. all i did was grocery shopping, hot tubbing, a bit of housework and reading (im reading sophie kinsella 'ive got your number' which is cute and funny - donna you would probably love an e-book reader. i think that they actually loan readers out at our local library!) feeling alot better today but decided to give jackie the day off and chose to do gilad 'core & more' instead. 65 mins of work for the abs, back and glutes. a mixture of pilates, traditional and functional exercises. deceptively easy because one really needs to pay attention to the form points that gilad makes so that you get the most out of everything. i took an extra shift in the seafood dept tonight... i have my to-do list organized, so it should go well, i just have to remember to keep the right attitude about it. i know that im a perfectionist and try too hard, which is why they hire me...LOL... but sometimes i make myself crazy. my ribs are still talking to me but they have taken it down to a murmur. i was surprised at how much better my range of motion is today. a proper balance of activity and rest hard to achieve but im trying. :*carolyn.
