I mentioned to my doctor that I often had a headache the day after I took my

MTX. She told me to take the Folic Acid for five days and then the day of and

the day after I take the MTX, she gave me a script for Leucovrin (? I'm

trying to read her writing) It is supposed to help with the side effects. I'll

let you know if it works!

I have a migraine for 24 hours after I take the MTX, but I take mine in pill

form. The insert from the pharmacy states that headache are a common side

effect, so I figure I'm just one of the luck few, LOL!

I don't get headaches from it, but it made me pretty sick in the

beginning. Taking Leucovorin 12 hours after the Mtx helped a LOT.

Paige,

I was on MTX pills, and I would always get a headache the next couple

of days after. The Prednsione gave me terrible headaches too. Tawny

I almost always get a migraine like headache a few days after my enbrel.

Thank goodness that I do not! I have no noticeable adverse side effects

from Enbrel. We are all so very different in how we react to different

meds.
