Guest guest
Also , Go to your school's employment service, explain to them your situation to see if they can find something for you sitting or can do from home on a laxed schedule part-time (a stretch but worth a try), granted your condition may not allow you to stay long-term but hopefully tide you over a little while longer. I was always able to find employment through school placement. God forbid but if it comes down to it file chapter 7, I believe it's called it's the bankruptcy where you still have to pay them back but at a reduced rate, so that you don't lose your home. Or you may have to rent the home out for a short time to keep from losing it. The student loans will have to wait for now, get forebearances. I am in a similar situation with student loans, now hospital bills, etc. The lawyer should be able to help you with this too. Because it still takes time to go through the process again with SSD. Good luck with everything. Ebony
Guest guest
I hear you. I do go to the dentist, but the experiences have not been good ones, so still looking and this time for an experienced one and also one who knows about RA. I went to one recently, and he suggested I go to a hospital dentist. So some of them don't want to deal with RA and that has to be taken into consideration as well when searching for a dentist. I have just started letting them know about the condition beforehand. However, I think I am past the too late stage you mentioned. Since being on the meds the dentention deteriorated rapidly. I am looking to repair the damage at this point and repair some of the bad work done by inexperienced dentists, which I have had to do in the past as well. But totally agree with you about the imporatance of it all. best regards peace and healing, Ebony --------------------------------- New Messenger with Voice. Having 2 pulled later this month and not looking forward to it at all. Good luck finding a dentis that will work for you. Guest guest
well I'm glad that you are thinking about this option when you start getting better. I have had issues at my job with my RA but have been able to control it. I have been there since August and recently at the beginning of Dec was able to start back on the enbrel but do not think it is doing as good as a job as it did the last time around. I just hit my 5th week of it. So when I go back to the doc on the 17th I am considering and going to talk to her about adding in a DMARD to have more control. I still have pain in my hands on a daily basis. I constantly use my hands locking in wheelchairs all day long to take them to work. I work in a specific area where I help adults find employment. I also work with someone who has a disability at home as well. I live with a gentlemen with my 2 young children who is visually impaired. -------------- Original message -------------- From: " Ebony " <stillbreathing29@...> I was just posting a msg about volunteering. My daughter was special needs. While I think I would be excellent with special needs children, this is not something I am emotionally ready to do. I am still reminded of my daughter when I see special needs children to such a degree I wouldn't be any good to those babies. However, volunteering is on my list of things to do for the new year. But health issues need to be under good control first so working on me right now. We have another program here I am interested in and have been for some time but then it was I have to find the right therapy and it is still that but I will be okay with good control of the pain at this time. Take care, Ebony > > Ebony, > I work with adults with developmental disabilities, maybe you could find something like this as well. > > >
