Guest guest
It is hard to say any exact statistic here. But while you are having a good relationship with your doctor at this point, ask him for cialis so you don't have the distress of future problems when the opportunity for sex is there again. > > So a quick background of what's been hapenning. Guest guest
Care to share why your son is on zoloft? I presume you look forward to being a grandfather one day? > > > > So a quick background of what's been hapenning. I started taking > > Zoloft in high school and before I was sexually active. Guest guest
Please understand that if you are still taking a quarter dose of your medication, your symptoms may be completely normal (typical may be a better word) side-effects of antidepressant (SSRI) therapy. " PSSD " (Post-SSRI sexual dysfunction) would be an appropriate label for your situation only if you completely discontinued your medication and the sexual side-effects persisted without a daily chemical cause - ie. zoloft, paxil, or prozac (regardless of dosage). > > So a quick background of what's been hapenning. Guest guest
Yes, this is true. Also if your son has sexual dysfunction from currently taking meds, then there is a risk he could have PSSD after discontinuing. > > > > So a quick background of what's been hapenning. Guest guest
I started taking it to get through some really tough times in high school and I do have to say it helped with what I was going through at the time. I was sad all the time and didn't want to be anymore so I talked to my parents and they said I should go to the doctor. So I did and he prescribed Zoloft. Looking back at it I probably should have taken it while seeing a psychiatrist to get to the root issue and come off the meds a couple of months later. Meds aren't always the solution to problems seeing as they are chemically engineered to create rapid changes in the body that aren't always natural. Knowing what I do now I definitely want to get off the meds and back to a drug free life. > > > > So a quick background of what's been hapenning. Guest guest
I also wanted to add that I don't believe that having your child or someone close to you see a doctor or begin taking these prescriptions is a poor thing to do and as such there should not be blame on anyone for side effects or things that may occur because of the meds. That being said, thank you for all the responses. I do realize that I am still on the meds so expecting the side effects to go away now would not be the correct thinking but I wanted to get a feel for just how many people have dealt with it and how common it is. Thanks for all the responses and for any more that may come. > > > > > > So a quick background of what's been hapenning. I started taking > > > Zoloft in high school and before I was sexually active.
