Guest guest
My daughter in law just had an MRI on her hand. They were looking for RA. The report just came back and they told her no RA but Cystic changes in her hand. We are not what this means. Can anyone help??? We appreciate any help at all. I wanted to put her mind at ease. Guest guest
Hi, Lynn! Why were they looking for RA? It's hard to guess what might be going on without more information, but cystic changes can occur in osteoarthritis. How did your DIL's physician interpret the findings? Not an MD I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
Hi , For about a year now she has been having joint pain. Her hand is really bothering her and she ask for the MRI. He told her if she had Ra it would show. He didn't get on the phone when she called. What she was told was by a nurse not her doctor. Her grandmother does have osteoarthritis pretty bad. Had hip and knee replacement because of it's damage. I have no idea how he interpreted the findings. I am not happy with her doctor I think he just blows her off. I wish I could get her to someone else. She has been in pain for well over a year. What do you think? How have you been? It's been a long time since we talked. Hope all is well for you and the kids? Guest guest
Lynn, if she's been having pain for over year, she should go for a second opinion. The kids and I are AOK, thank you. I hope you and yours are, too (and the grandchildren). Not an MD I'll tell you where to go! Guest guest
I agree , I was just talking to her about going to my Rheumy. Thank you so much for all your help. By the way there is a new little one on the way. Sometime in January, I just hope all goes well. My son and his wife have suffered two miscarriages before. This will be number seven. Good grief we are growing. Again Thanks, Lynn Re: [ ] OT help > > >> Hi , >> For about a year now she has been having joint pain. Her hand is really >> bothering her and she ask for the MRI. Guest guest
Thanks , all we can is pray. They have had such a difficult time in the past. I hope if all goes well they stop. Miscarriages are too heartbreaking. My daughter is also getting married next July. I feel terrible that I can't pay for the wedding but she doesn't care. She made a budget and is sticking to it. I am making her veil. Think of the Sound of Music and walking down the aisle. Her veil will be in two parts one the very, very long and the elbow length. I am excited about her wedding. She looks like a princess in her dress. Laurie is going into her second year of law school. Lots going on here!!!!!!! Thank you for all the help with my DIL. I think she is a little depressed also but I do want to help her. You are the best the articles you sent her were good. Again thanks, Hugs, Lynn Re: [ ] OT help > > > I agree , I was just talking to her about going to my Rheumy. Guest guest
That's sounds so beautiful, Lynn. The Sound of Music is one of my favorite movies. You sure do have a lot going on. That's great about Laurie, too. I wish you all the best! Not an MD I'll tell you where to go!
