Guest guest
Hi Kathe, Thanks for answering my post. I don't have OA in my knees that I know of. It didn't show up in a plain xray. They do bother me much though. Feels like bones rubbing together at times. Because it's hot here in Texas, I think I will try the cold pack first. If I use a pain patch on my knee, will it stay there when I move around? Last night before bed, I put capaisin on them. that helped some. I also have a rice sock I use on my shoulder. I appreciate the support, too. hugs, Debbie L
Guest guest
Hi Kathe, The first patches I bought were thermacare. About $6 for 3. They are good but only have sticky on each end so I use tape to keep it down. Otherwise when I put it on my shoulder, my bra strap moves it. Today I put a Wellpatch on it. One side is completely sticky. It moves some when I move my arm so I put it back down. It's smaller and cheaper. My fibro group recommend Salonpas. Those are small and cheap. They smell like menthol. Maybe I will use one on my knee tonight when I don't move around as much. If the pain worsens I will call and set up a injection. Right now I am waiting for my rheum to approve my Darvocet refill. It was faxed to them Monday and not ready today. It's my strongest pain pill. LOL. If I go in for the injx then I can ask about a future MRI. My shoulder needs a new one, too. Last MRI on it in 2003 showed it's pinched again. warm hugs, Debbie L --- In , Kathe Sabetzadeh <lv2ryd@...> wrote: > > Yes, Debbie, I have heard that these patches stay on > quite well when you move about.
