Guest guest
Hi, i am a new poster. Briefly, i was on Lexapro for 6 months but have been off it for an entire year. I've had problems with ejaculatory anhedonia throughout but it's actually been getting worse. i just had blood tests done for T and it is pretty low. Total T = 194 Free T = 44.6 FSH = 3.1 LH = 1.5 Prolactin = 6.5 My endocrinologist wants to give me TRT (gel) but i'm not sure that makes sense. Since my LH is also low wouldn't Clomid be a better choice? I would rather kick-start my body's own production than shut it down with external TRT. Does that make sense? Or is my T so low that he feels he needs to get it up to a normal range first? He also is telling me that Clomid cannot be used long term and is mainly a fertility treatment for increasing sperm count. But i'm hoping the Clomid my do the kick start and stimulate the pituitary into a longer term production on its own. Is that unrealistic? I'm really unsure of how to proceed. Any advice???
