Guest guest
, Wow, isn't it tough to make these decisions about meds, etc.? i had to see my regular doctor's office today as I had an allergic reaction to the antibiotic. They upped the steroids hoping to get me through to the end of the course because I am allergic to so many things. I am allergic to sulfa so cannot take Celebrex and cannot take NSAIDS because of severe GERD (reflux). I have been on the Prednisone for a long time now with the MTX. The Plaquenil did not help me at all unfortunately either symptomatically or with my labs. So I know it was not working. I just think a break from the Humira will be good for me and then I can always go back on it again if I start to slide downhill too rapidly. I am just so sick of these upper respiratory problems which have really dragged me down. I told the doctor today I would rather be a little more crippled up and have better lungs than doing what I am doing now. I know it sounds crazy, but I am trying to find some sort of balance. I also take Vicodin for pain and it helps me quite well for now anyway and Nexium for my tummy. I am 39 and done having kids, but I still have three at home, 5, 12, and 15. FUN, FUN!!!! Thanks again for writing! Tracie > > Hey everyone, > > > > I know you have not heard from me in awhile.
