Guest guest
Hi , I don't know if you read my post from Wednesday or not but I started my swimming class. It's a beginning class but I know the instructor, and she said that she will give me "advanced" things to do. I took the beginning instead of the intermediate or advanced class because I'm rusty and my endurance is really lousy. said that if I improve enough I will be able to take her Advanced class in the Fall, YEAH! I could have taken the intermediate class but I didn't want to because I don't like the Instructor's teaching methods. I guess I'm spoiled because the woman who started Schoolcraft's Adult Swim classes was excellent and learned her teaching style so I prefer the way she teaches. The other instructor has us doing drills that make no sense to me. Like swimming with your elbows bent like a chicken...really hate that one. Or she has us doing one drill for one stroke then another drill for an entirely different stroke! Whereas and Nelli (the original instructor) would has us work on one stroke a week then repeat them. Anyway, she had me swim a lap and I didn't get tired! Maybe because I'm finally blowing out of my nose instead of my mouth!I just wanted to share, Jenp.s. Max is driving us crazy! Who knew that a 9 week old kitten would be so WILD. He has all ready figured out how to get on the table and counters...little monster....more training to do!Subject: biceps and lap swim at CACTo: "Exercise Videos" <exercisevideos >Date: Sunday, May 6, 2012, 5:01 PM I was at CAC during the perfect time - after most of the seniors had left and before Family Swim. Guest guest
OH yay, Jen! Swim class is fun and no shame in starting back with the basics, esp. if it's with an instructor you know you love!Yes, kittens are CRAZY! When Junior was little he got into everything and shredded many a toilet paper and paper towel roll LOL Hugs! Guest guest
Max is so PLAYFUL! I have plenty of toys that he can play with and he goes from toy to toy..he is so much fun to watch and play with. I got him some kitty furniture but I need to attach a toy to it so that he will want to play with it more. I will have to take a picture of it and send it to you. My 20 year old cat, Mia is NOT happy with her baby brother because he keeps biting her! It's hard to make him stop because she is blind and he wants to play. He was from a BIG litter so he's used to having a lot of cats/kittens to play with. Yep, I think I'm going to LOVE that swimming class even though the water is only 74 or 76 degrees...BURR!
