Guest guest
Hi All, Yesterday I got the mammogram done, the yearly ob/gyn thing, and a bunch of other errands. It was a rest day. I'm resting again today. I forgot to tell you all the new thing. A friend brought me a package of assorted sprouted seeds/beans. They were so delicious that I thought I'd learn how to do this. It is super, super easy. I kill houseplants, but even I can do this. I've been sprouting all kinds of things: mung beans, spelt, quinoa, nuts, lentils. OMG, the sprouted lentils are my favorites so far. I put them in my salads and use them as sides with my other meals. I even through them in my smoothies. Do any of you do this? If you want to see how, here's the video that got me started: http://youtu.be/OSt0DmAPDm4 I had some mason jars and the outer rings. I just used the lid rings with some cheesecloth. Works great! I use tap water. And this site has tons of videos: http://sproutpeople.org/
