Guest guest
in a flare but will try to make sense in my message, spelling and caps may be off. went to urgent care today for leg pain for almost a week -- swelling that won't go down--now area is turning dark -- I was told possible tender nodule on the leg. I was happy DVT was ruled out, however which was my main concern. With a chronic illness you learn just enough about medicine to scare you. Every question I asked about the possible diagnosis (dx), I was told to ask you rheumatologist. If I could I wouldn't have been in this new hospital looking for a new doctor. I don't know what is going on here in this town but having a very hard time finding comfortable care. ARe they just overworked or burned out? I wish I knew. Or maybe chose the wrong profession because of the money. This particular guy appeared a little intoxicated as well which is his business but just preferably not while dx'ing and treating me. Sent home with Lortab which I gave back, can't tolerate them, will stick to the over-the-counter tylenol. Did your nodules go away on its own? Still very painful, especially after 6 people maniupated it trying to determine what it was. Ha! Thanks. peace, Ebony
