Sunday (ellen b) & Monday (x-factor & stretch)

Hi Everyone,

Just catching up after a busy weekend!Sunday - Ellen Barrett's Barefoot Cardio (I seriously couldn't make myself do X-Factor today!) and stretch from Core Fusion Pilates Plus. Now - here is something to report - I have some slight leg DOMS from Barefoot cardio - whereas the X-Factor workouts really haven't given me any DOMS! :)

Monday - Got myself to do X-Factor Week # 5 - he structures this week a little differently. Previoulsy there were four circuits each with an exercise for 30, 45 and 90 sec. Here the circuits are a bit longer and he mixes up the time here and there. In the intro for this week he says there are more 90 sec challenges (yes!). So' here's the breakdown and how I did:

Week 5 breakdown:knee huggers - 30 seconds - this wasn't bad!

speed skating - 45 seconds - not bad, I even added some impact/plyo!

single leg burpee - 45 seconds each side - this was crazy. I couldn't do even one, so I followed the low impact modifier and stepped back and up. I also missed a few reps b/c I was trying to figure out the modification!

superman - 90 seconds - Surprisingly difficult! But I did it....

scuba diver - (I think this called swimming in pilates) 45 seconds - not as bad as holding superman for 90 sec!

single leg squat jump - 45 seconds each side - not badwater break if neededburpees - 30 seconds - did them - but yuck!

V-leg - lie down with legs in V, roll yourself up and back down - 45 seconds - not bad.

bicycles - 90 seconds - surprisingly difficult for this amount of time!

split lunges - (split lunge jump) 30 seconds - better than doing them for 90 sec!

kettlebell swing (no bell, of course) 45 seconds -this was fine/fun even!

standing knee raise, kick back - bring your knee up in front of you, then extend leg back, hinging your body forward (45 seconds each side) - this was fine alsowater break

Repeat

So, it wasn't impossible! I added on Madeline 's PM Stretch. Aahhh.
