Guest guest
Oh hugs, Itchy Indy! That sounds MISERABLE! The first Abs of Steel with Tamilee isn't very good, imo, but as I recall AOS #3 really got me! It started out easy, but on the third section I was like OW! Have fun! Well, at least I had shoes on this time! My legs are covered with bug bite, and I have poison ivy over a good portion of my abs. DH and I took out an overgrown area this weekend. I'm taking Benadryl (which make me drowsy!) and using Benadryl lotion, and I still itch like crazy.I even wore long pants, and I'm still eaten up to the knees. Luckily, they didn't get under my socks, so my feet aren't itchy like last week. I'm still planning on doing an exercise session tonight. I figured that I itch just sitting, so I might as well itch and get something done! I'm currently working on abs -- and seeing some results! I've recently upped my weights when doing all exercises and using ankle weights for floor work. TurboFire Core is a real ab killer. I'm going to try Abs of Steel tonight -- found an old copy at Goodwill last time. Maybe working out will distract you some from the itching? ´¨¨)) -:¦:-¸.·´ .·´¨¨))((¸¸.·´ ..·´ -:¦:- ~-:¦:- ((¸¸.·´*
Guest guest
I made it through just fine, although I used the " advanced " 5lb weights. The title is actually Arms and Abs of Steel, and right now I feel like Arms of Jelly! The ab work wasn't as challenging as I had hoped. Tricep dips killed me. I tried a few of the one-handed ones, but only a few. Most of the other movements I was able to nail down pretty well. I did like Tamilee's form on her exercises. It was a VHS tape, and I needed to rewind it, so I was able to see in fast-rewind how steady she kept her shoulders and such. > > > ** > > > > > > Well, at least I had shoes on this time! Guest guest
Yuck....itching from poison ivy and bug bites is so miserable! Hope you get some relief soon. Benadryl makes me so sleepy too...can't even function on it. Jeanette
