I have had a bad reaction to NSAIDs so am now on Motrin and tylenol

three times per day. I am feeling pretty bad to the point that the

pain is starting to awaken me at night. I am still not offically

dx'ed as RA, but all signs point that way.

My Rheumey told me to go of the Mobic and start the tylenol/motrin

combo last Thursday. I am actually getting worse instead of better.

She told me to keep my appointment on 6/7. Would you try to tough it

out until then, or call and ask to be seen sooner?

I don't want to be one of " those " patients, but I am wondering if it

has been long enough to notice a change?

On another note, has anyone here tried magnetic therapy? A lady I

work with swears that they helped...she has offered to make me a

bracelet to try. I figured it couldn't hurt, so why not? I'll post

if I notice anything!

I have had such a bad reaction to nsaids, that I had to see a kidney

specialist.

But I do take ultracet for pain without any problems.

Hi , i personally would tough it out. But that's just me. if you are

hurting that bad ask to be seen. My rheumy didnt prescribe any pain meds for

me except once. So, i've found out that tylenol PM helps out alot... even

during the day. Good luck with the bracelet!HUGS
