congrats!! 2 kitties!!!I am on a list for a GSP pup.. 10 were born last weekend.. I don't care about color or gender.. just want the wildest best one for agility.. but she has 2 black and white males that I love.. doubt I get one but it is my dream color.. sadly for what I do attitude is more important..I would love a second one next year but doubt I can swing that...j From:

I just found out from the other breeder that her Lynx point female had her kittens last Wednesday (May 2nd.) She had two boys and two girls. I want a boy Lynx point but I told the breeder if I can't get a boy lynx point then I will take whatever boy she has. I'm hoping and praying for a boy lynx point...I really WANT/NEED a Lynx! I won't know if any of them are Lynx points until they are 3 or 4 weeks old.Trying to wait patiently, Jen

The first Siamese cat I ever had was a Seal point and the second one I got was a Lynx point. I all ready got my Seal point, Max and now I want my Lynx point. The Seal point will be a dark brown/black on his "points" face, ears, legs and tail. The Lynx point will have strips and basically look like a "snow tiger." I prefer male cats because they are more friendly/loving. Mia is nice to me but she's a ONE owner/Mommy kind of gal. What is a GSP puppy? Why can't you get the black and white puppy? Why can't you wait and get the color and wildness you want? I'm waiting for my Lynx but I can only wait for this one litter because I want Max to have a kitten closer to his age to play with. German Shorthair pointer.. black and whites are not acceptable in show ring in the US (long story) so not many. Because I do agility.. performance event, you have certain qualities in a dog you need 1) structure so they can withstand the events.. (why I go to breed dogs so they have solid structure) 2) temperament - we need very bold pups with attitude and drive so a seesaw doesn't scare them etc.. That is why for what I do you don't pick on color.. if one has 1 and2 and color great.. but I am ready for #3 as my old dog is nearing retirement and my other dog is trained and it is time to start training next star :)it is different needs for different people and what they do with their pets.. mine are athletes...here is my youngest at the AKC Agility

Invitational.. (only top 5 dogs each breed invited). I was running him conservatively as you need to be perfect to continue on.. yet he was still 7th out of >200 dogs...

I'm a "cat person" that's what I grew up with since I was 2 years old. I got my first Siamese when I was 3. My Dad did own a black Lab named Gypsy. I remember her and would have liked to get one some day but I live in a townhouse so it wouldn't be fair to a big dog. My Dad used Gypsy for hunting so I guess she was an athlete. I'm hoping to train the kittens I'm getting now to walk on a leash but right now Max is too little and hasn't had all of his shots yet...maybe next Spring when he's a year old. Those agility competitions are interesting but I've never watched any in person.
