Guest guest
way to go - these are some of my favorite FIRMs b/c they are short and easy to fit in!!Donna Subject: FIRM Lower Body Sculpt ITo: exercisevideos Date: Tuesday, May 8, 2012, 10:04 AM Still testing my toes and they seemed to handle this all standing lower body challenge well, just my heels are still sore/tired feeling but the toes just barely twinged. Last night was good too, a tiny bit of discomfort before falling asleep but no problem sleeping because of them. Will check in with podiatrist this week and see if we can get the heels on board too, then I'll be good to go, I think (I hope). Anyway, this is 30 minutes, Kay leads it. I don't love her as lead, she seems really screechy in the beginning then either settles down or I don't notice as much. I did this workout without modifications. Pulled out 3s, 5s and 8s and followed recommendations for weight size but noticed she never did tell you to use the lowest weights. During both sets of leg presses, with the 8s, I remember thinking, "Who said pick up your heaviest weights?" (a la Kathy in LWTLW, I think it was). That was tough but good workout. All strength (with calf pumps, which I barely left the ground on), but the weights and pace made it also cardio at times and I was in my zone for over 11 minutes of it (I'm also pretty de-conditioned so it is not hard to get my heart rate up right now). Tomorrow I get the mole stitches out (yea!) and will try to do either a low impact cardio or upper body.
