Guest guest
That doesn't sound exactly like what happened to my hand, though the symptoms were similar. I don't have any thinckening of the skin, or any nodules in my hands. What made my hand curl up was strictly inside the tendon sheathes. When the inflamation was reduced, they released again. I had something similar years ago when I had an infectious teno- synovitis after a cat bite. In that case, of course, it was infection that caused the inflamation, but again, my hadn curled into a ball and got " stuck " there. In that case, even when the infection was gone, I had enough adhesions in the tendon sheathes that I needed OT to pull things apart again. (the infection went all the way from my hand to my elbow) > > Eaton Hand > > > " Dupuytren's Contracture " : > > http://www.eatonhand.com/hw/hw009.htm > > > > > Not an MD > > I'll tell you where to go! > > Mayo Clinic in Rochester > http://www.mayoclinic.org/rochester > > s Hopkins Medicine > http://www.hopkinsmedicine.org >
