Guest guest
, I'll pray that your husbands surgery goes smoothly and that he will get relief soon! Meredith in Canada On another note, for those who've asked for me to keep you updated, my husband had his appt. yesterday with the new doc. The 6mm stone is lodged in his left kidney causing infection. It's been in there entirely too long and this new doc. literally said the other doc. was an " idiot " for not stressing the importance to have it surgically removed as he only had a 5% chance of passing it 2 months ago and he has a 0% chance now. They are calling my husband today to schedule the surgery for either the end of this week or early next week. Depending on exactly where it is lodged will depend on how invasive the surgery will be as this is a uric stone. Thanks for keeping Rick in your thoughts and prayers all. Guest guest
, you and Rick will in your prayers. May his surgery go well, and that be the end of his kidney problems! I have been dx'ed with Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Fibromyalgia, Sjorgen's, and OA. Tough, but I'm handling it. What really breaks my heart is that two of my three children have psoriasis, both developed it about the time they started middle school (long before I showed any signs of autoimmune disorder). Both (he's 27, she's 21) have it mostly under control now, but they both had major emotional damage from going through middle and high school with psoriasis on their faces! They also both have asthma, and my daughter has a stomach disorder that keeps her from digesting food when it flares. I had been hoping that since my daughter had psoriasis, I wouldn't have to worry about her developing any other autoimmune disorders. How horrible for you to have to deal with all of that! I think it's perfectly ok for you to use the b word - it certain is a bitch! Know that you're not alone, that mac truck is out there aiming for a lot of us most days. Gentle hugs, and keep us posted on Rick's condition. On 8/23/06, <swtlisab@...> wrote: > > I just wanted to welcome everyone new to the group from a newbie > herself.
