Guest guest
I heard about this from WW people and then saw it on pinterest (more on that in a sec) and finally made some for myself. I finally found a way to really like kale! (I haven't made soup with it yet but might do that too now.) You cut the leaves off the stems, cut or tear them into bite size pieces, put them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, drizzle them with olive oil then sprinkle them with seasoned salt and bake for 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees, depending on how crispy you want them. Then you have kale chips (like potato chips only healthy)! You could do some other seasonings instead of the seasoned salt and probably could just spray them with cooking spray instead of using oil if you want also. My kids and kid friend who is sleeping over weren't impressed but DH and I really liked them! Pinterest: if you haven't heard about this yet, it is so cool. It is virtual bulletin boards you create by "pinning" images to them. I pinned the recipe for the kale chips to my "vegetables" board. You can check it out at pinterest.com/nancydewolf. If you don't already belong to pinterest (you have to join and you have to have an invitation to join), you can email me for an invitation to join. I've got a bunch of different food boards plus other ones for workout ideas, fitness inspiration, funny stuff and other things. You can "follow" people's individual boards (or all of their boards) and see the new things they've put up too. I'm having a blast with it!
