anti- depressants question and a vent too

sorry i havent posted in a while but i need your info on Zoloft... i was put

on 50mg once daily. The first dose i took this evening after dinner and i'm

miserably nauseated. Any suggestions on how to get rid of that? or does it

just go away on its own? thanks so much in advance...so sick off pills.... now 5

different pills daily, the mtx and enbrel weekly.... Ugh. Not to mention i

still have the runs... over 2 months now and its getting OLD. I havent lost

any weight at all so i dont know what's going on. Yet another damn doctor

appointment i have to make. Does it ever end?

If I remember right when I was put on Zoloft they started me on a starter

pack which was 25mg first to get my system use to it and then on the 50mg. Let

me tell you it is hard to get off of it too it took me 6 months I had to do it

slowly. Also my father had diarrhea on it also I know you do not want to hear

that but check the side effects on Zoloft they put him on something else which

worked better for him.

I am sorry you are having such a hard time this disease is really not nice

and being a mom I do not know how you do it.

I was just at the doctors yesterday and I was giving another med to take. I

totally agree with you I went to the ER last month because of chest pains and

pain down my arm. Found out today it was my RA and to prove it he put pressure

with his thumbs on my chest I about blacked out.

Hang in there but I would google side effects on Zoloft I did it for my dad

I actually found out diarrhea was a side effect.

Bowel... we'll see that was only the first dose...
