Guest guest
Oh, I'm going to have ab-DOM-ials tomorrow!! I'm getting better at keeping up with this Turbo Fire routine. I have some problems with using the band, though. It puts too much pressure on my elbows (feels like hyper-flexing them) during the first part of the workout. I've found I can modify by putting dumbbells on my shoulders that give me resistance in the core but don't stress the tennis-elbow problem. The floor exercises really kill the abs, though!! I AM getting better at them. I remember not TOOOooooo long ago I would not have been able to do any of those crunches, but now I'm working on keeping up with the class. I tend to be a little slower, but I'm working on it! After supper, I went out and set up a new agility course in my yard. My equipment had been over at a friend's house for the 4-H agility show. I often think of Judy now when I go out there. Hazel (dog) and I had a bit of aerobics in the yard, too. She's been looking for JJ (the Golden) but otherwise doesn't seem too affected by his absence. I don't think we'll get a replacement very soon. I have enough responsibilities right now without adding a new dog to the mix. I'll try to better enjoy the dog I have. My boss at work is into workouts, too. I overheard him telling someone that he and his wife do Intensity together, plus I guessed from his physique that he's not a couch potato. (I had guests from Germany over last weekend, and I asked if they have a term in German that mean " Couch potato. " She said, yes, they say " couch potato. " -- No translation for that idea!) Indyrose, using the break in weather to get some agility training in with her dog!
