Guest guest
Would you believe a med like Xanax or Paxil will help? At first, I noticed that when I hurt I got worse and worse. Sometimes a good night's sleep would help. Then I realized that when I started hurting my muscles would tense up, causing me to hurt more, causing more tension, etc... and it built from there. Now, I take a Xanax because it's a fast relief but doesn't last long. I have a new one that I'll have to take regularly, it seems, to build a comfort level that will stay there. At least that's what I'm being told about it. Ask your doc about it, it could be a simple, cheap fix. Guest guest
No, I don't have any problems with my stomach. I have had really bad indigestion a few times, caused by some of my meds, but am taking 1/2 Prilosec OTC daily and have no troubles. One time I was prescribed Tagamet for my stomach, but it didn't like me, so I had to stop taking it. One thing I've noticed is that people that take the newer meds seem to suffer more side effects. I don't see any reason for it, but the older proven meds are what I want, and that's what I'd suggest for you. Ask your doc about taking an older med instead of the new, too-expensive meds.
