Guest guest
Hi all, I did get to enjoy a kick-butt walk yesterday. It was similar to the last SF hike, but it had fewer flat sections this time. I tried to cram in full o' hills. I've attached a couple of photos. It was cloudy, breezy, but warmish - 55-60 degrees. I hit the following hills: Clay St to Lafayette Park - great views of the bay.Steiner St up to Alamo Square - that's the picture of the grassy park. Best park bench ever! Up Haight St. Buena Vista Park - to the peak. I sat for a moment and turned around to find a cute puppy licking my water bottle.Ashbury St to Twin Peaks - I hit 148 flights on my way up that hill, and that felt like enough for the day, since I knew I'd end up with a few more stairs just getting home. That's the second photo. Finished off by heading down Clayton, Cole and Stanyan to a bus stop in the Haight. Took the bus back to the Mission and had a superb lunch at a vegan Mexican restaurant. Took BART home, and walked home with that really full belly Total flights of stairs :155.Total walking for the day 11 miles.I have not been careful about food this week. It started out OK, but I kinda just did what I wanted most of the week. I really enjoyed it, but it's time to nip that. Happy workouts! 2 of 2 Photo(s) IMG_0588.jpg
