Good morning!

The suspense was killing me so I had to try To The Max this morning.

I have to unfortunately tell you all that the only parts I liked in this workout was the music and the stretch. This was not a fun workout for me. It was jumping from the get go and repeating everything and that's' it!! I think I could've tolerated it better if she would've went through each thing just one time. Why do it again? I agree with what Darcy said, repeating just fills space.

It starts off with stepping. I was hoping this part would be fun, but it was just repeating moves. Next was step tabata and then compound leg work. I only used 5's for all of it. I was so freakin breathless that I was lucky to use any weight. Last was core work. She used DB's and I was thinking I'd really get a nice core burn here, but I was feeling it more in my upper body then my core. It seems like all these new ab moves tend to work every area of my body BUT my abs. Good old traditional ab work has ALWAYS worked for me.

You know, its one thing to do a workout that's hard, but still be fun, but its another thing to do a hard workout and you can't wait for it to be over because its not fun at all. It was just hard cardio to me, nothing else. And if it weren't for the music I don't know if I would've continued the workout.

OK, so enough ranting about this workout. Here are my numbers.

I burned 418 calories, avg 145, max 185, steps 4,269.

At this point, I'm not sure I'll continue this rotation. I dislike this workout so much that I will probably only use it as an add on to something else. I don't know yet.

Have a great day!
