Guest guest
Hi all. Just need to vent. I've been having some really bad days. I've been taking my meds religiously but they aren't helping. Course its only been a week but these should help right away no? Ultram (50mgs) and Tramadol (50mgs) and Soma at night. My right shoulder hurts so much I wish I could cut it off. My cervical neck is tight and in so much pain the headaches keep coming and the snap, crackle and pops are back and its causing major pinching and burning in the muscles of the right shoulder. My right are is literally numb and achey. My body, especially my arms are nothing but sore spots and bone achey. I have to work this way every day. what can I do??? Unfortunately being so newly diagnosed I don't know what's due to carpal tunnel, what's the OA, what's the Fibro, etc. On top of all this my nerves are a bundle of stress balls. My husband is having major kidney issues because the urologist he was going to is a dope. We found out (2 months later) that the " stone " he had might not even be a stone since the report our family dr. was looking at said " no stone detected " even though the urologist said it was a 6mm stone! Now hubby has a major kidney infection, IF there is a stone its blocking his kidney and he needs surgery cause there is a 0% chance he will ever pass it (the dope was saying he wouldn't do surgery that Rick would pass it). IF there isn't a stone I don't know if I want to know why hubby has had major pain for 2 months in the left kidney that this jerk has ignored!! I'm scared for him! Hubby's appt with new urologist is Tuesday, we'll find out what the story is for sure I hope! Pray for us!!
Guest guest
Hi : I am very sorry to read that you are still having so much pain. After a week, maybe you should call your doctor and tell him these particular pain meds don't seem to be working, is there something else he could prescribe? Or increase the meds? Something should be done to get your pain in control, unfortunately it might not go completely away, but just to take the edge off the pain would be great, I know. I will be praying for you and your hubby - I hope that all goes well next Tuesday at his appointment. Please let us know - take care - Kathe in CA --- <swtlisab@...> wrote: > Hi all. Guest guest
, I'm sorry you're in so much pain. I tried to IM you. I have pain in the same spot and take the same pain med at the same dose. It would be a heck of a lot cheaper and tastier to take tic tacs! : ) Hope that makes ya smile. I still take my meds because I do get some relief though! Personally I find that the only relief I sometimes get is going to the Chiroguy once a week (please don't ask me to spell that out in my fog lol). Don't forget ice and heat and rice socks and everybody here laughs at me but I still swear by the whole screaming into a pillow thing. Works wonders on my shoulder! Just make sure you have some hard candy around for your throat cause that'll get a bit scratchy on ya after a bit. Annie > > Hi all. Just need to vent. > > I've been having some really bad days.
