Guest guest
I am glad to find this list. When my daughter was 2 they told me she had JRA. In the following years my mother and I have been diagnosed with Lupus and RA. In the 80's I was in the hospital many times with severe problems and more than once on IV steroids. I have had an optical stroke due to Lupus which has taken some of my sight in my right eye. I have Raynauds which has been severe at times. I have fought this battle for years now. From neuroma's to that great Lupus mask. I now am in much better health and am on no medications and have changed my lifestyle. I went all natural from my clothing to what I eat, this helped me. I practice warm hydo-therapy for the Raynauds which has made a big difference. Now this year my husband was diagnosed with severe RA. I feel like this is just a family plague. His RA factor was so high it was just unbelievable. My conclusion through all the years of living with this is all of the above are just the same disease with different names according to the symptoms that one has. My husband is taking multiple medications at this time. I am pretty much depressed about his condition. Of course watching his daughter and myself going through so much he is frightened of what the future may hold for him. I am so glad to find all of you, it is hard to talk to people who have not experienced what it is to have Lupus, RA or Raynauds. I think the most distressing thing to hear is " you look ok to me. " I can't tell you how many times I heard that before my Lupus went through the roof. Well I have vented and will now look forward to reading every message on this list, Jackie
