Guest guest
Glad this one was a winner for you, !! Subject: Monday WorkoutTo: Cathe_Friedrich_Fans , exercisevideos , fitandthatsit Date: Monday, June 4, 2012, 11:12 AM Good morning! This week I'll be doing all my new workouts. I was excited to start something different. I think I'll get a rotation from somewhere to finish out the following weeks of June. So today I started with Cardio Abs. I want to first say that I'm adding as one of my favorite instructors. I absolutely love her! This DVD has 3 workouts on it so you get a lot of workout for your $. It has Cardio Abs (all cardio for 28 minutes) Total Body Abs Transformer (cardio toning intervals for 28 minutes) and Concentrated Abs, which is another 25 minutes. I did the first two workouts. Can you believe I realized that I didn't turn my HRM on until over half way through the workout? GRRRRRRRRRRRRR I wanted to see my burn SO BAD. I just took it off at that point. I didn't want to even see the numbers with half the workout gone. The second workout (total body transformer) was SO HARD. Maybe it was because I'm not use to doing a lot of circuit type stuff. I used 10 DB for all of this and was frying. I plan to do the final workout this evening, which is all abs. I can tell you that I really love this DVD. Have a great day!~~
Guest guest
Brook won Dancing With The Stars a few seasons ago, and is now a host of that show with Tom Bergeron. She used to do a show on late nights on cable called Wild On. I would watch it sometimes when I couldn't sleep. She traveled to exotic locations in it. Great job, Ronda, on all the lunges and squats! I haven't heard of Burke before. Have fun at Zumba Toning! I went to Zumba last night and it was a blast. I'll have to try the toning one someday! Today, I did Burke's Strengthen & Condition. I still can't get through it all. I do fine on the lunge and squat series, and the upper body moves (although I have to go down to 3 lbs vs 5 lbs for some of the moves.) It's the abs/core section I can't get through completely, at least the plank series, and the bicycle/scissor type crunches. Those are killer for me...my back always starts to arch while doing those, so I have to modify. So, I have lots of room for improvement there!:)Yesterday I did Keli 's Ultimate Step, which was a blast from the past, and a lot of fun. I worked up a great sweat. She has an abs section at the end that is also pretty challenging. Tomorrow, I am going to Zumba Toning with my daughter.I hope everyone has a good day!Ronda -- ___________________________________________________________________ Please help support my website by doing your Amazon shopping through me with this link: http://www.amazon.com/? & tag=pinkpussycasc-20 & camp=212361 & creative=392009 & linkCode=wsw & THANK YOU! =^..^=
Guest guest
Thank you, ! I guess Burke is a television host or something (I had never heard of her before seeing her 2 exercise dvd's either.) She has 4 kids, is 41 years old, and is in great shape. I had to miss Zumba Toning, because I was at the hospital with my son last night (I gave details in my last post, in the coworker stunt thread), but I hope to get to the class again soon. It is really fun! I'm glad you have a great Zumba class, too...I love it when exercise is so much fun! Ronda > > > ** > > > > > > Today, I did Burke's Strengthen & Condition. Guest guest
Great job ! Good morning! I really wanted to do Cathe's August rotation because I thought it looked really good, but I couldn't help but wanting to burn out individual body parts. I decided to bring her rotation in with my mix of one body part a day. I'm using my mish mosh I made up a long time ago and already have on a disk which combines Pyramid Upper Body, Slow & Heavy, and Gym Style. Today was chest work. I started with Cathe's Low Impact Circuit and did all three cardios and blasts. This one is SO repetitious. Its a shame because the chore is fun. I just wish she would've decreased on the repeating so much. Anyway, it was still good since I hadn't done it in a long time. Next was chest work. PYRAMID UPPER BODY:Chest press/fly's (up only) 12/15/20 SLOW & HEAVY:Bench Press ( 2 sets) 20 12 repsFly's ( 2 sets) 20 12 reps GYM STYLE:Bench press ( 2 sets) 20 12 repsFly's ( 2 sets) 20 12 repsIncline bench press ( 2 sets) 20 12 repsIncline fly's ( 2 sets) 17 12 reps cool down This was 65 minutes and I burned 424 calories, avg 135, max 178, steps 4,004 Have a great day!~~
