Guest guest Posted July 30, 2012 Report Share Posted July 30, 2012 Hi Everyone!I woke up not in the mood to workout this morning - my DH had gum surgery last week and has been restless at night ever since - so that is one thing that kept me up - the other is that I'm worried about DH's aunt after our visit yesterday and I'm also stressing a little bit about DD's upcoming bday sleepover (I think I over-invited!!!) and then started thinking about all I need to do to start to get ready for vacation! Then, started stressing about DD and school with a new teacher, etc., etc. So, you know how it goes - something wakes you up and your mind goes from one thing to the next and you are up feeling anxious!Anyway - I finally did drag myself down to exercise - I picked Petra's Bootcamp Boogie - I told myself all I had to do was a quickie. So, started with the warm-up, did the quick workout # 1, then moved on to quick workout #2 and got through the first combo on the quick workout # 3 before I had to stop due to time. So, somewhere between 30-35 min of cardio - not terrible for a morning when I really wanted to stay in bed! I did the yoga cool down w/ Petra but no formal yoga practice this morning (no time!) I really enjoyed Petra's workout this morning and look forward to doing the full workout sometime soon! Carolyn and I did it together a few months ago - it is fun - do-able, but not boring, moderate intensity so no "dread" for the early morning.Tomorrow the plan is - slimdown original upper body and a longer yoga.
