Guest guest
i know that this has been discussed a little before, but i just wondered if the majority experience yo-yoing or whether most people's symptoms are constant. for example i sometimes have next to no libido, lack of response to stimuli, with extreme ed, numbing etc. other times, for short periods, my libido is better, my erections are better and i feel something close to pre-ssri with regards arousal, sometimes the numbing is also not as severe too. it is never the same as pre-ssri, but better. the most worrying and constant symptom for me is my orgasms which are always completely devoid of any pleasure and on occasion can even be slighlty painful. i am now 15 months off paxil. i also wondered if it is possible that the severity of symptoms can be linked to the length of time we spent tapering and stopping our intake of our offending drugs. i, for one, am convinced that i stopped taking paxil far too quickly (a few weeks in all) and although i didnt realise at the time that it was related and that it was the start of long term problems, i actually starting having sexual problems from the first drop of the dose. for those who have experienced better orgasms over time, did they start to get better gradually or did you experience spontaneous improvements?
