Guest guest
ive come across some possibly conflicting or maybe just incomplete information about aromatase and 5-alpha-reductase, what i am trying to understand is aromatase converts testosterone to estrogens & 5- alpha-reductase converts converts testosterone to dht. the conflicting information ive come across is in regard to saw palmeto, it blocks 5-alpha-reductase to convert testosterone to dht. in some things i read it says that 5-alpha-reductase is what converts testosterone into estrogen's as well as dht, is this correct? and also the same thing with aromatase inhibitors, inhibiting conversion of testosterone into dht as well as testosterone into estrogen's.
