Guest guest
Well, today's package arrived at 10AM, but the driver left the package by the door and didn't pick up the old, overheated one. I called UPS again, and this time got through to a very helpful local supervisor. I have her name and direct number so I can call her every month and she will assure that my Humira gets to me on time! And, they will call back and scheuled a pick-up of the old package so I don't have to wait around for it. My regular driver is on vacation, guess the sub just didn't want to bother working too hard. Any way, this month is now ok, and hopefully, so are future months. Bad news - my rheumy upped my amount, so I can take the Humira every 7-10 days. I looked at the bill -ouch! For self-injectables other than insulin, I have to pay a percentage of the total - so my co-pay just doubled. Ouch, ouch, ouch. Hubby and I have a small but sucessful consulting business, so I don't qualify for any aid. How do you guys on fixed incomes ever manage? Even with good insurance, I spend a small fortune on medical bills! Glad I don't have any kids at home to worry about! ps - Kathe, here's a picture of my house: http://www.pbase.com/arenared986/image/55920690 It's a brick Tudor style, built in 1926. Lots of old houses around here, if you're ever in the Pasadena area let me know and you can come over for tea or coffee! -- South Pasadena, CA See my galleries! - http://www.pbase.com/arenared986
