Yes, I've been successful, but it has been over a long period. And there were plenty of times I fell off the wagon. I haven't really been " on a diet, " but rather just watched calories in vs calories out. (The first law of thermal dynamics doesn't care if the " calories in " are from cabbage or cheesecake!) My " goal " has never really been weight loss, per se, but rather health and fitness. The weight loss is a side effect of eating clean and good exercise. But I don't always eat well -- and I don't always exercise everyday. I guess I never pictured myself as someone who could influence others.
