Guest guest
This is so very close to the truth. Joyce from Texas [ ] The Cat In The Hat On Aging Here's one my wife brought me, I haven't seen it pass through yet, so I think it might cover some of us. I cannot see I cannot pee I cannot chew I cannot screw Oh, my God, what can I do? My memory shrinks My hearing stinks No sense of smell I look like H*ll My mood is bad-- can you tell? My body's frooping Have trouble pooping The Golden Years have come at last The Golden Years can kiss my A$$ Dennis in Eastexas " It's not Rocket Surgery "
Guest guest
Dennis, Thanks for sharing this. Unfortunately it may be true, yet brought a smile to my face and caused me to laugh. I don't allow myself to be dragged down by everything that seems to be falling apart, but try to remind myself that laughter is healing. In fact scripture says that " laughter is healing to the bones. " I know it's somewhere, but cannot remember the exact address nor can I find my Bible at the moment. LOL...got to love getting old as I want to be around to watch my beautiful grandchildren grow up.
Guest guest
The modern version is, " Laughter is the best medicine " , and I firmly believe that. When I'm in a big flare, nothing is funny for me, but when it's almost over, a joke is good medicine. I'm glad you liked it and that you weren't offended, it was a little off-color. Guest guest
I have to send this to my oldest brother. He's 17 months older than I am. He'll love this.
