Ups and downs in June

My workouts have been very erratic this summer, mainly due to a compressed time

table at home. Now that I need to put my Mom to bed every evening, it really

cuts into my after-work time. I have pretty well kept up, and since I haven't

gained any stress weight, then I doubt if I'm going to. It hasn't been easy!

My new job is starting to smooth out a bit. It's quite a bit higher stress than

what I've worked at before, but the pay is good. One of the worse things about

the new office is that people bring in all sorts of goodies, all the time!!

Someone brought in a large cake today. Last week there was ice-cream cake (for

the president's birthday) and someone made homemade cinnamon rolls! What's with

all this junk food??

There are some really heavy people in the office, too. Our team (tech writers)

is a rather thin group in comparison. Even so, one member just got promoted to

QA, and bought a pizza lunch for everyone. I usually have just salad for lunch.

Food everywhere!

Anyway, I'm glad I'm still getting 3-4 workouts in per week, and I am still

maintaining my weight. Someday soon I need to shed those last 15 pounds that I

want to get rid of! I'm hoping my skin will eventually tighten up from what I've

lost so far. It dangles and sags now. :-P

I need to work on Turbo Fire a lot more!

Indyrose,

working on the 4th due to lack of vacation time yet!
