Guest guest
Lynn!! It was so good to see your name here again, but I am very sorry that the news does not seem to be good for your eyes. I am always worried about my eyes too - I am very near-sighted which makes the dryness in my eyes from the RA worse, and the RA or medications I have taken, have caused cataracts in both eyes - at 50 I had the right one done which was great - and I hope to have the left eye done next year, insurance and funds allowing! It's so hard to have RA anyway, but then when it starts affecting us in ways that nobody is really well versed in, like our eyes, it is even more upsetting. I hope you do go and see the other doctor that is being recommended to you - I would do anything I could to try and retain my vision. I wish you the best - and I hope they can find some medication that will be helpful to you and not cause you anymore harm - you've been through enough, my friend. Take care - Kathe in CA --- Ruf-Caimi <ruf-caimi@...> wrote: > Hi everyone, > , I told you I would let you know what the > Rheumy said about my eye. Guest guest
Hello Kathy, I couldn't write my daughter had surgery and it was nasty. She had sinus and nose surgery. Right now she feels awful and look just terrible. I am probably going to go to the recommend doctor. It is always a money thing. Since December my stove, refrigerator, hot water heater, lawn mower and DVD player have all had to be replaced. Rains when it pours, I sure didn't expect this expense. Any way thank for your note. I'll let you know what happens. Lynn Re: [ ] ot eyes Lynn > > Lynn!! > > It was so good to see your name here again, but I am > very sorry that the news does not seem to be good for > your eyes. Guest guest
Thanks Kathy, I just called the eye doctor. My eye was bothering me. I hated to do it due to it being a week end. But then I decided it was my eye and I had to be cautious. He has me using (until I see him) moisturizing drops. Says how the eye does will tell him a lot. Thank you my friend. Guest guest
Kathe, I have heard there is eye drops that are supposed to help with cateracts, but I could not tell you the name. there is also a eye drop for macrodegeneration in the eyes too. or maybe that one is a pill. do not remember the name only that my sisters doctor told her about it. & that you can get it, over the counter. mary w. > > > Hi everyone, > > , I told you I would let you know what the > > Rheumy said about my eye.
