Patsy: I switched from Effexor XR to Cymbalta about

six months ago, and have felt better since then. I

was given the go-ahead by my rheumy, who felt that the

Cymbalta would also be helpful with my nerve pain, and

it has helped with that, because of fibromyalgia. I

think it is called in places the " new effexor " , and

works about the same. If you did not have any luck

with Effexor in the past, you might try one that works

on your brain in a different way. I hope you find a
