Greenwashing

You may be interested to know that we may now have a term appropriate

to the outrageous claims and manner of presentation by the purveyors

of ozone, ClO2, enzymes, photocatalyticsuperoxidationexpedaliocious

and all the other " magic bullets " intent on KILL, KILL, KILL instead

of remove, remove, remove AND change the environment (remove the

food, stop the water and dry it) so the mold growth is gone and will

stay away.

“Greenwash” is defined in the 10th edition of the Concise Oxford

English Dictionary as the “disinformation disseminated by an

organization so as to present an environmentally responsible public

image.”

This term is especialy applicable to the ones that warn of the same

dangers and concerns that we do, even lamenting the ripoffs and

outright fraud - YET offer something just as egregious. E.g. this

I do appreciae their " take " on chlorine poisoning of workers from

ClO2 techniques, recently discussed here, but am actually amazed at

their claim of being responsible for preventing epidemic infections

after last years tsunami.
