Hi skeeter, welcome to the group. You will find alot of caring people here,

and they all understand what we each go through. I was DX. with RA,DJD,and

Diabetes all at the same time 10 mths. ago and I have tried swimming while

in the heat of the day, it did not help much considering I went on one of my

bad days, least that is what I contributed it to. I do know when I can

monopolize the shower the hot water feels so good until I have to get out.

Maybe someone on the site can tell you, I would like to know to cuz my

husband has talked about that for a while now.God Bless and painfree days.

Love Rhonda

Hi Skeeter,

My parents have a hot tub and I go over as much as I can. I really find it

helpful. The very warm water is very soothing, and the water jets are very

beneficial as well and good for circulation. I would look into to it for my

house, but I can't afford it and I'm not allowed to put one outside. (Townhouse

rules :( ) Hope this helps.

I am curious if a hot tub would be beneficial to RA? I do not have an existing

place to put one, but am really considering looking into them. I don't know much

about them.

I have enjoyed reading the posts and trying to check out all the links and

info that is posted.

That is it for me..............

If you have read this far.................. Thank you!

Hi there,

I have the jacuzzi bathtub and it helps me soooooooo much. You can

even buy the

things to put into a ordinary tub to transform it. It is worth every

penny. There are days

that I hurt so bad, I swear it feels like my skin is hurting and I get

into my tub and I feel

like a new woman.
