Guest guest
Hi...I have this problem, though probably caused for a different reason. It is important to have a sufficient Vid D level so that your body will use the calcium appropriatetly. If If your Vit D gets too low, your PTH (para thyroid level) will increase, meaning your body is leeching calcium from the bones because there is is not a sufficient level of calcium in the blood. So, this is nothing to fool around with. A good amount of sunshine, taking calcium citrate supplements (usually absorbed better than calcium carbonate but there is some debate here) and supplemental vit d will help. Also, to make sure you are absorbing your calcium, there should be 50% amount of magnesium of the amount of calcium you are taking, and phosphorus as well, though I am not sure on the level of phosphorus. Love... Tess
