Well, I finally got my time in with the new pain specialist, and he passed

his test. He finally told me, with demonstration and the written report,

that I have a bump in the disc at R5-R6 that's causing my troubles. The fix

is an 'epidural' or 3, but they don't talk price at all. I guess my first

thoughts are that I can wait until it starts hurting again, since it comes

and goes, and then decide on a shot. I think I'll wait and see. At least he

was honest and answered all my questions and made sure I understood it all.

I went with her to the Social security Office so she can apply for SSD If

approved, she'll get about $250 before Medicare's cost. That's almost not

worth it, but if it will get her meds, we'll be a lot better off. Any bets

on the outcome? :)
