Thanks for the encouragement, this is such a uncommon event that so few people

have had this surgery. I start PT three days a week next week and I hope to also

get back tot he job next week also. I guess I won' tknow until I get out there,

lol.

I'm weighing in here on foot pain/surgery etc. I've had a total of 4

surgeries on my left foot. Two of the surgeries were to remove heal

spurs which have grown back and remind me once in awhile that they are

still there. The other 2 surgeries were for neuroma's connected to

the nerves going to my 2 middle toes. Before going on Disability in

2003 due to failed spinal fusions, then being diagnosed with RA, my

biggest complaint was that my left foot hurt most of the time. I

would just dismiss it as arthritis developed due to the past surgeries

and scar tissue since I've been cut on so many times. Out of all the

surgeries I've had in my life, foot surgery was very hard to

recouperate from. Like I said, since then I've had to failed spinal

fusions and am probably looking at some more (I've blown another

disc!!!!!!!).......so I have to say that spinal fusion surgery is the

worst of all for me!

I'm having some really bad problems with my back lately and I'm

wondering if it's my RA flaring up on me or if it's the blown disc. I

wish that when I start having " new " pain that I can just go and have

a CT scan to see what's going on. Unfortunately I have to go through

trying several treatments before just ordering a CT Scan.

Ok..I'm exhausted, I'm up at 1:48am from pain and horrible nightmares

.........I'm now finally sleepy, so more later....thanks for listening.
